The Fitness Center at The Club at River Wilderness offers outstanding fitness, tennis and swimming programs that are geared to the beginner as well as the advanced athlete looking for a healthy lifestyle. The 3,800 square foot Fitness Center includes a state-of-the-art exercise room with quality fitness equipment, a junior Olympic–size pool, four Har-Tru tennis courts with two configured with lights for night play, two pickleball courts, as well as a sauna, locker rooms and massage area. Fitness members can take advantage of 7-day advance court reservations and unlimited use of the fitness center, fitness classes, tennis & pickleball courts and the pool.
A variety of fitness classes are scheduled throughout the week to meet the diverse needs of our Members. Classes include Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Water Aerobics, Barre, Dance Cardio and more! Smaller class sizes assure that our Members receive individual instruction based on their skill level and abilities. Personal trainers are available by appointment for customized workouts. Periodically, refresher courses are given on the use of equipment to ensure efficient and safe workouts.
Meet Our Athletic Director, Kristy Cameron
Kristy Cameron, Athletic Director
Kristy is a Certified Tennis Pro and Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Weight Loss Coach and Professional Body Builder with over 35 years experience. She has been a USPTA Tennis Professional for 35 years and also a head varsity high school coach for 25 years. Kristy worked as an Assistant Tennis Pro at The Club for many years before being promoted to Athletic Director. She also teaches Water Aerobics & Pickleball 101!
Jenny Morano, Instructor
Classically trained in music and dance, Jenny has an organic approach to teaching that accommodates a variety of experience levels, from “two left feet” beginners to competitive dancers. She is known for her creative methodology which is the culmination of cross training in dynamic and diverse dance styles with world renowned instructors and dance companies. Here at The Club, Jenny teaches Yoga, Barre, Meditation, Dance Cardio, Salsa Cardio and more!
Jean Marie Maggi, Instructor
Jean Marie is trained in Wellness Yoga, Pilates and Dance. She was previously a Group Exercise Specialist for Silver Sneakers – Humana Bradenton, a Yoga Instructor for the University of South Florida Wellness Program, and a Yoga Instructor at the Covered Bridge Community in Ellenton. She studied Dance at Clive Thompson Dance Studio in Staten Island, Broadway Studios in NYC & Fred Astaire in Arizona. Here at The Club, Jean Marie teaches Pilates, Fit & Go and more!
